Title: Boot opening woes

Okay, not for me, but a friend who has an older 04 1.6 FSI Mk5 Golf. She's quoting that:
"It's the connector that goes to the electric and the VW badge but they all have 4 prongs and mine only has two".

Any ideas of where to get one or any work arounds? She has tried to local stealer and they don't stock the part. Would the 4 pin one work and just routing the wires to the correct 2 pins work? Or is it a case of scrappers? If any one says scrappers, then any ideas of local to Manchester?

Have u tried finding the part number and ur local tps.  :happy2:
