Hi all !

My names Sam and in the coming weeks im hoping to buy Mk5 GTI so i thought id register here as its packed full of useful info.

Its coming up to my 20th so i finally decided to move up in the car world from my 1.2 clio to something more enjoyable (despite my age i am not a hooligan). Its come down to a mk5 GTI or a Type R so lets see if you can convince me 100%

Hi Sam welcome ! I had a Type R for the last 9 years from new and loved every second brought a MK5 GTI Edition 30 a couple of months back and haven't looked back since I would definitely recommend the golf over the Civic it's a lot more car for the money and more fun to drive-you won't be disappointed
