So I fitted my BCS decat yesterday with the intention of going stage 2 in the next week or so.
As expected the engine light came on, but the car is also running a bit strange. Under 3000 revs it almost seems to be like shaking?
I scanned for fault codes and it came up with 5? Are these all normal for when fitting a decat? I feel like they arn't!! :sad1:
00305 - Fuel Consumption indicator signal - sporadic 002 - lower limit exceeded
00768 - Rear Heater core temp sensor (G154) - sporadic 002 - lower limit exceeded
00769 - Coolant temperature sensor at engine outlet (G82) sporadic 002 - lower
00770 - Coolant temperature sensor at radiator outlet (G83) sporadic 002 - lower
00771 - Fuel Level Sensor (G) sporadic 002 - Lower limit Exceeded
Thanks in Advance!

"My mechanic changed my brakes and now the engine developed a mis-fire"
None of those codes are related to the decat pipe.
I had absolutely no issues when fitting my decat pipe aside from an engine light which came on about 2 days later.
Unless your mechanic completely bodged the fitting and broke all of the other sensors or left something unplugged. Literally you only need to undo the 4 bolts on the downpipe and a few under the car :) and the lambdas !

Problem is you don't know what codes were already there. Clear them all and see what comes back.

Thats what I thought :sad1:
Car had no fault codes before, so the unrelated ones must be coincidence, or something has got hit/broken when fitting the exhaust. The two lambdas where the only sensors removed, and they been fitted back correctly.

Check all the fuses and just double check all the sensors are firmly seated and clear from any debris.
