Anyone here running these brake pads, RC5+, I went to a track day at brands hatch a couple of weeks ago, and my mate had these fitted to his GTI, I was amazed at the braking performance and biting power of these pads, I have run ferodo DC2500 before, and theses RC5+ pads completely wipe the floor with them. The only problem I could find was the pads clonked about in the calipers and made a terrible noise.
I was think about getting some of these pads, but cannot run them on a daily bases if I have to put up with that clonking noise. So has anyone here fitted these pad and found away to stop the pads rattling around in the brake calipers?
