Hi guys my traction controll button does not want to switch off..any ideas?

Are you pressing and holding down the button?

This could be a faulty abs pump. It's well documented. Do a google. And good luck.

If as the above suggest you've got the common fault of G201
To make progress on this type of issue its best to have the vehicle scanned with a VCDS tool any of these near you:-

Then if the fault shows that code plenty dealers have corrected this issue FOC.

When I hold my traction button, it flashes rather than illuminates? It does turn it off though, is this right? 58 plate tdi

Best way to check is get it scanned with vcds (vag com)
