If the lack of any equipment doesn't bother you than go for it. I would thoroughly check the car for rust (especially the sills and underbody).

Hey guys

My name is Diogo.
I have a 2008 Volkswagen Golf V GTI 2.0 TFSI 200HP.
I have a 250HP remap with NGK coils and spark plugs, a Racingline air filter, and a downpipe.

I'm thinking about changing my K03 turbo to a K04 and will soon be posting more about my GTI project.
Thanks for stopping by.
I send a big hug to the whole community.

Hello all,

I am possibly looking to buy the above referenced car,   I was wondering if it was a known forum car or any ex owners on here?

Thanks

Looks a very nice car in the ad. If the cambelt and water pump are changed and there are no other 'to-do' items, then £6K is a fair price especially given the low mileage.

I would double check there is a wire and not make the assumption, as the car might see the stalk but it is not being received by the ECU.

I sell the wire if needed, as if everything else is fitted and coded that is all  :happy2:

Performance Modifications / Re: Stuck Engine Cover Mounts - Cold Air Intake

Hey mjamallia sorry for the late reply, a bunch of other things on the car decided to stop working.

Turns out that there's a hex nut holding the mounts in place on the rear, so I just held them in place with a wrench and managed to take the mounts off using the 24mm socket.  I checked the mount centers, they do not have an Allen key hole but damn that would've made the job easier.

Thanks again for your time!

My GTI's low pressure fuel line was beginning to split so I began the process of replacing it. Unfortunately I'm unable to fully seat it on the barbs of the high pressure fuel pump and wherever the other end goes.

Pic shows the progress I've made, the barb end was lubed with petroleum jelly before I began trying to seat the hose. It's pretty stuck and I'm also having trouble removing the hose to re-lube the barb.

Any advice would be seriously appreciated, this thing is driving me nuts.
