How much coolant when changing water pump?
« on: March 14, 2018, 08:48:33 pm »
I'm getting the water pump changed tomorrow and have 2.5 litres concentrate of G12 coolant.
I'm going to dilute 40/60. Anyone know how much is required? Will my 2.5l be enough.

Think I remember reading on here, the how to replace the thermostat thread that you need 2L of coolant for 50% mix but have a look.

I just premix it 50/50 in a different container and just pour in what's required.   I'm sure I read somewhere the total capacity is around 10 litres, so 3 bottles of G13 ought to be enough.
