Resonated Blueflame  :happy2:
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?

Mile-muncher ordered: MkVI 1.6 TDi BlueMotion Match DSG with leather, winter pack, luxury pack, fogs, climate control, Dynaudio pack, RCD510 with DAB & MDI, flat tyre indicator

.
Milltek, Blueflame, and APR are the favourites.

I'm a Milltek fan boy - Custom quads on a R32 rear'd GTI.

He specifically stated that he doesn't want something that drones...

Thanks will look into them, is flee bay the cheapest place to get a milltek ?
is the milltek non-res loud, by this i mean the dredded drone on long trips ? I am leaning towards a milltek as i like the tips, won't be long now though bumber and front skirt getting painted next week just need to decide on exhaust
Thanks for the replys.  :happy2:

....Hmm, I'm not sure how good any aftersales service will be if you buy off ebay. Best to buy either direct or from an approved Milltek dealer.

Resonated is quieter than Non-Resonated.. Millteks have been known to drone in the past.. The black tips in my pic aren't standard but can be ordered: Ceramic coated black satin and extremely practical needing minimal cleaning.

Sound is very subjective so check them all out. APR and Blueflame sound very sporty but harsher than the more sophisticated Milltek sound in my opinion. Depends what you prefer - They're all good.

Thanks Robin think i'll go for a milltek. Will have a look upto Revolution in Newcastle tomorrow se what they can do for me. Think ill get non res as well. Had a milltk on the clio (182) and liked it till i took the cat off, sounded nice but over longer trips it gets on ya t*ts.
BTW your car looks loooovley, as do many others on this site spending quite a lot of time reading some very interesting threads.

Thanks.  :happy2:

massively subjective, the GTI will be going resonated as needs to remain the sensible family car

Ceramic coated black satin and extremely practical needing minimal cleaning.

what do you use to clean em robin as i now have a laser etched pair  :pomppomp:
