Should have been 430ish... but he said he would do it for 360ish. Then I just asked if that was the best he could do..... didnt have to haggle hard.

Just shows you, all you need to do is ask. We have been using this VW garage since 1994, they look after us.  :happy2: It will be interesting to see if the DSG service and basic settings jobbie makes any noticeable difference.

Alex... mine had 13K on it in September when I got it. You do the math on the fuel, it will make me sick if I think about it!  :signLOL:

My dsg service did wonders, gear changes were silky smooth from 1st to 6th and still are over a year on.

Same here Rich DSG service made a world of difference, if you think about it that fluid has been in yours since it rolled of the production line, and on these DSG boxes they have no fluid seperation between the gearbox and the clutch plates so all the swarf and bits that came off the gears as they bedded in is slushing around in your gear box still and all over your clutch  :sick:  They changed the design with the newer Audi 7 speed londitudinal boxes to have seperate fluid in gears and clutch plates to improve time between servicing!

5Dr Black GTI, DSG, Leather, Xenons. Retrofitted - Cruise, RNS 510, MFSW, Armrest, Skoda BT, 6cd changer, Monza II's, VW speaker upgrade kit, Lux pack, High-line, new CAN gateway, Polar FIS info display, R32 tinted rear lights, RVC
