Aussie Pirelli signing in
« on: May 31, 2009, 06:27:40 am »
Hello,

I hope you don't mind an Aussie joining in!
This forum appears to be the most loaded with ED30 / Pirelli GTI info.

I'm currently driving a 1.4 GT TSI w/ kw v3 coilovers, but (due to some excellent Australian economical-stimulus-tax-break stuff), I've got a Pirelli GTI coming to me on the 19th June.  Nothing at all wrong with the GT Sport - I love the twincharger. But it is hard to let an opportunity to pick up a GTI pass!

The KWV3 will be coming across (after some discussions with my suspension place about different spring rates etc), and I've got a second set of 17" wheels with Toyo Proxes R888 for 'training' days at the track.

Info in the superchips thread has been great, I'm tempted to place the order for a bluefin now, but I think i'll wait until the beast is in my hands.

Looking forward to contributing to the site, and my new GTI.

I'm in Perth, Western Australia.
But am originally from Sunderland.

Cheers,
Martin

Thanks for the warm welcome guys

Wigit - New Pirelli is a Graphite Blue DSG / xenon / nav / rear sensors...  in 5 door
Switching from CW to the blue is going to mean re-thinking a lot of car photo ideas I've had in my head.
Candy White is a bit more versatile when it comes to lighting!

This is my curent GT Sport:
First pic is on 18" (latest pic with GTI sideskirts), the others are on my 17" track wheels.
