Voomeran Cosmetics....
« on: November 17, 2009, 11:08:38 am »

^ I like the fact that it has kept the oem style honeycombe - An essential component of the Mk5 GTI identity. It even has provision for the tow-eye. Massive air intake vents too - Good functional styling. But where would I fit my DRLs? ................

^ I prefer the Voomeran to the Hofele ^

^ Might not the side 'shark gills' be a bit counter-productive?

^ A bit less aggressive looking than the OSIR and also available in plastic for painting. I wonder if the gap creates any airflow which is helpful in keeping the Golf's rear from getting so dirty so quickly.

^ Subtle mix of matt black with oem black ^

Other interesting stuff : -

^ Living in the countryside, my foot matt collects lots of dirt.

Robin have you not been taking your medication again.

It would be ok for a 17 year old lad to put on his corsa  :chicken:

Do us a favour turn your baseball cap around, as i think you have put it on the wrong way.

Have you tried Halfords?
They do a similar style under the Ripspeed banner.

That's not the brand of lube I thought you had in mind for this forum, VC

Hmm.. I wouldn't consider buying any of the Voomeran offerings apart from the rear roof spoiler which I think that if it was a colour-coded version first seen on a forum member's car at a meet, people here wouldn't be so anti. Especially if they didn't know it was Japanese.

ive seen that spoiler before, the word shopping trolley was used.

however, for me its simply a poorly executed concept - it just looks as though youve stuck one over another and not added to the overall design of the rear of the car.

the reason others have said that it would look fine if you contrast the two, such as matting one, is to try and visually make the spoiler blend more into the shape of the car, id rather the actual design of the spoiler do that.

i looked at very similar designs with my MK4, and ended up removing the original and buying an extended version of it that included side peices. that worked very well i think and was very noticable yet subtle at the same time
