Got round to finding some painted side skirts in grey
T20 to remove 4 bolts, and flat blade to remove existing residue, stuck the new ones on with double sided.

Got round to giving the alloys and exhaust tips a good clean. No sign of white worm yet.   In two minds on keeping the Monzas.

Had my canbus changed due to having the battery drain issue. Turned out I had the F revision. Now upgraded to Q.

Had it coded in along with some other mods added by @Pashka

Now it chirps when unlocking
Daytime lights are on at 25%
And also had the seatbelt chime taken off

New Fobs from eBay. £6.50
For 2. Swapped out the internals. Works fine and looking fresh

5000K Ulta Ultra Halogen bulbs added from ECP  just under £8. Giving off a nice whiter tone, looks much better than the standard yellow.

https://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-parts/car-electrics-and-car-lighting/lighting1/car-bulb/?971775521&0&cc5_847&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIvrv6pLO02AIVYbftCh3iNQi2EAQYASABEgKiBPD_BwE

Found some led error free 501 sidelights from my local maxwise, and also some rear leds number plate lights to try out - only lasted a week before flickering so swapped back to the originals.

Looking to get a service soon. What are the best oil, spark plugs, filter etc to get. Also is it worth getting ignition coils done ? From the service book it's looking like they were done 2013 @ 70K. A new Cam follower was put in July this year. Worth getting that checked too ?

There's currently shell Helix Ultra 5w 40 oil in ATM, been topping up with the same stuff. Should I stick to this or go for something else. Any advice would be appreciated  :drinking:

Many Thanks Raj  :happy2:

You could consider Quantum Platinum 5W-40 oil, this is supplied by Volkswagen themselves and is OE Approved (VW 502.00). 5 litres can be had for around £20 if you look on eBay. Round off with a quality oil filter (MANN filter is about fiver from ECP) and you can get a decent oil change done for less than £30!
