If you keep on top of it, then the build-up comes off easily with normal car body polish. I give mine a 10 second wipe with a bit of autoglym when cleaning the car and they come up looking like new every time

Britemax final shine is good as a maintanace cleaner. Won't mark the metal over time like some of the harsher polishes and leaves some layer of protection behind also.
Britemax twins are excellent.
