Headlight plug harness

My clip a are broken and I can only remove the plug by using brute force.

Is there something out where I can plug in this broken harness then plug into the headlight. Then I will never have to touch the broken plug again. Hope this makes sense.

You can buy this plug from tps or vw for few quid and re-wire it

Is it easy and what tools would I need?

It's not that easy if you don't normally do these things ,  plus you need a pin removal tool,  so while it can be done it's more for advanced diy'er than a tinkerer

Is there an easy way to remove the plug from the headlight other than brute force?
