Headlight plug harness
SI-R32:
If the clip/bit you pull on has broken, the bit that holds the plug in will still be there, you need to remove an easy plug to get to which has the Same clip, then work out how the headlight one has broken or will come apart.
SI-R32:
Oh and always push down on a plug before pulling the clip towards the plug, then pull up, it allows the clip to unclip a lot easier if the plug is pushed towards the other socket
Vwgtiking:
Not sure I understand. There is no clip at all on one of the plugs.
SI-R32:
Just because the clip head has snapped off don't mean the locking bit has been snapped off, but if you think it's all defo missing then the headlight ones being at least 10 pins are a little tough to pull apart, but if it really won't come apart then it must still be locked together

Is there something out where I can plug in this broken harness then plug into the headlight. Then I will never have to touch the broken plug again. Hope this makes sense.

these plugs have a very painful technique. push the plug in then pull in the clip and watch is slither out :signLOL: and I'm being serious as working on vag for years.
