First of all nice motor! Sat here and went through whole thread and must say great job! Glad to see another black gti from East London
Question about the fog hid, will these throw an error or are they all plug and play and good to go?

thank you kindly :happy2: I've done that with a good few threads and get told off for sitting gawping at the phone for so long :slap:
The fog hid are plug n play and don't throw any errors on the dash so you'll be fine.
I'll be honest with you and say they're brighter than the oem headlights and my bi xenons so I switch the headlights off on the motorway and use the fogs in the dark areas so be careful how you use them and I also adjusted mine to point down so it doesn't startle oncoming road users

That's correct these boot pop up kits don't work as well when it's cold but I knew that before buying it and also have no idea why they need programming as it works off the bump stops that push the boot lid open when triggered by the remote
Dan_FR:
Not everybody's car pops the bootlid when you hold the button down on the fob...... mine didn't as standard - just allowed you to open the boot using the handle whilst keeping the doors locked
