Thanks for the info, quite a bit cheaper then a new unit! Do they offer any sort of warranty with it?

Warranty is 3 months for the ECU (as they open it up and seal it again) and lifetime for the bridge they put in place. They check all the bridges to see if they need repairing or are prone to imminent failure in order to take action there and then.

It was a very thorough job and I was glad that I had the opportunity to see it being carried out. I imagine most places wouldn't let you do that!
