Paper filter vs Panel filter for remap?

It would concern me that you can see through some of these cotton filters. I had a Green Cotton / Pipercross one in a Subaru and you could see through the weave of the material. It might have stopped leaves and moths and large grit but that would have been it. Switched to paper and detected no difference. I expect the turbo may have also been happier in a less debris laden air supply.

Paper filters have a much larger surface area, just change them more frequently.

I went for a ITG panel filter (same as VWR panel filter). I can't complain about it so far. :smiley:
