I'm back with a Black Edition 30 5 Door

Trunkstuff:
Hello Guys,

Bought another edition 30, the idea that its going to be my daily car too and from work being DSG, with another car as my modified fun car. That wont last as I already have induction kit, intercooler and suspension on the way. Not really happy with the car currently, was delivered from the garage in abit of a state. Issue with manifold and intake, trashed rear tyres, trashed brake discs and dents all over the car. Working with the garage they are going to sort the manifold issue and contribute to the tyres and brakes. I hate the yellow fog lights, hoping its just a film I can take off. In the end I had to settle for this ed30 as there seems to be always under 10 for sale int he country and the majority are heavily modified or are dodgy. The super clean low mileage ones come at way too high of a price to a 10 year old car. I have bunch of asthetic things ready to go on the car, will look much better in a couple of weeks. Already booked in to sort the dents out. Its completly standard atm.

Not my first golf, I've owned a couple Mk5s and seem to keep coming back to them.

R tech Stage 2 Edition 30 (Bought it standard):

R32:

Had a couple audis too:

475bhp S4:

350bhp S3:

Stay tuned will be alot of progress at first. My style is very OEM. I like the car looking clean and abit of a sleeper.

Welcome back!

Apologies for the following but...

Settle? Why pay hard earned cash and settle for a below average car which is riddled with faults?

I am presuming by your comment you did not view the car before buying it with regards to your comments about the condition of the car? If so and the car was just delivered to you in such a state you have every right to reject it if it was not described accurately by the Dealer you purchased it off!

There are always around 30+ Golf Edition 30's on Autotrader, Yes good examples command a premium but there are plenty out there that are in reasonable condition and certainly not riddled with faults!

Shorty:
He got it off Revitup, I'd send it back and ask for money back.

Sorry for taking the thread off-topic, Obviously it is up to the OP what he wants to do with the car but....

I had dealings with Revitup (Mark Longstaff) earlier this Year with a warranty issue on a Civic Type R that I purchased, After a Month and countless messages I was finally offered a "Contribution" towards the repairs but only after I threatened to name and shame him and his company.

He has got too big for his boots and sadly customer service is not his best attribute.

I am actually banned off his Facebook page and cannot post or like any posts anymore, Pathetic!
