Hi, i got my golf gt tdi 4 weeks ago and would really like to connect my ipod to the car. I know you can buy a lead for it and have heard you can connect something to the cd changer in the armrest. Whats the best option, i dont want to open the mfd2 unit up at all.

thanks! :xmassmiley:

Hi jsd,

Have you got the Highline display on your car??

jsd:
Hi Steve, I'm not sure what that is but is :ashamed: that the on board comp in the dash which gives you turn by turn etc. if so yeah i have?

cmdrfire:
The 6-cd changer can be replaced with an OEM iPod connection (or MDI I think), but you can't have both 6-cd and ipod AFAIK.

Sound like it, if so you either have the option of the VW OEM (in arm rest) iPod dock like cmdrfire has mentioned or IMHO I would go for the Dension kit as this can display the song info on the highline cluster unlike the VW kit which is very limited.  :happy2:
