Mk5 gti revving when in neutral

Hello all,

My mk5 gti revs whilst in neutral whether it is warmed up or not,
Up to about 2,000rpm sometimes
Have had it read and comes up with PO507 idle control system

Has anyone ever had something similar, if so was it the pcv / idle control valve??

My money's on PCV

I changed mine when I had high idling and sorted it

Hi all, was the pcv valve! Fixed 2 codes with one replacement
