It was included in my service. I didn't ask for it to be changed. It was the first 'major' service since I owned it, so perhaps they just gave it the works.

Unusual.... usually they just completely refurbish the case/strap/ Maybe its too faffy to do on that particular one so just throw one on

Yeah probably. I was slightly annoyed to get it back with a standard matt finish after I spent ages polishing it :grin:
