My electronics are dying *Help*
v4rley:
No haven the swapped anything yet. Have a new latch / switch on route so trying that first. Do have an old module so could try that also.
Octoparrot:
First I'd get a new battery on it with that many faults.
v4rley:
Just to update / keep a record.
Car started ok this morning after standing for 12hrs (would from 4hrs yesterday)
Some of the faults above ie immobiliser and havc are due to highline and mk6 panel upgrade
v4rley:
Ok so today have tried to tackle the door issue.
So the drivers do is constantly saying the door is open regardless of actual state.
Tonight I have swapped over both the door latch and control module, neither have made a difference.
I have checked the loom between the door and car and it’s perfect
The controls for the drivers door will do that window and mirror, but not any other windows or mirrors or the fuel flap.
Have removed the loom connection and the fuse although it removes the power it still shows the door as open in the mfd :sad1:
Any ideas?
Maybe @SI-R32
SI-R32:
Reading over all your bits, your original post from vcds is saying you have intermittent comms with drivers door module, so you've checked wiring in the rubber and swapped the module etc,
Plug vcds in and see if it can talk to the drivers door module, with the door open and closed so it's stretching the wires in the rubber.
Have you done any work or added/changed anything in last couple of days?
One other thing can you hear the fuel pump priming when you open door after overnight, trouble starting?
