Drivers side mirror not folding

Afternoon folks.
New to the forum so Hi!
I have electric folding mirrors on my car but the drivers side isn’t folding! The motor is whirring and clicking but nothing happens. It keeps making a noise until I lock the car as well. Passenger side is fine!
Anyone had a similar experience and a fix for it?

if the motor is going and clicking it sounds like something is fouling the motor, i think the common  problem is the little white plastic cog in the mirror ou can open it up and change/fix it

or get a new unit £££ :sad1:
