Going to look at one tomorrow, I mentioned it earlier http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1434575.htm

The owner is a mature owner that has taken care of it, and it comes with GIAC switchable remap. 305bhp FTW

2300 is the official ( less write offs).

Still a superb car whether theres "loads" in your town or not.

They are still a rarer sight then GTi's on the road as a whole.

as you say, 3 door manuals seem to be most common available.

If you are after a ED30 take a look at mine mate - link in sig.
I have more options then the one you linked to (MFSW, Highline, etc), lower miles, DSG........

Oh, and Im not too far away from you either mate!

I DID NOT SAY THE ED 3O IS NOT A GREAT CAR  what i said is they are far more popular than vw would have us believe , i do a fair few miles up and down the country every day and i see at least 2 a day , i for 1 dont believe a word vw customer services say (must be worst c/s around ) and then the ed 30 was allowed to be imported , i went to a certain retailer in derby once and there must have been 50 ed30 there at £19.995 THE ED30 IS A BRILLIANT CAR BUT NOT AS RARE AS VW LED US TO BELIEVE WHEN THE ORDER BOOK FIRST OPENED , which for me made the car more desirable back then than it is today

To be honest, I have NEVER seen another ED30 on the road while I have owned mine.
I have seen 1 pirelli - but not another ED30.
Im just outside of London, by the way.

Makes it pretty rare in my book.

It all depends on the area you live in.

No it's a toggle on the indicator switch itself.

What he said...it's on the end of the indicator stalk (left side) it also has an off/of switch too.

Nicky, sorry mate, but the car has a very low spec, hold on and try and get one with some more toy's on it. :happy2:
Cheers,

Wayne

Too late, put a deposit down. It's fairly priced for the spec, and f*** me does it shift in 305 mode  :jumping:

Cheers mate. Added you to MSN.

Yeah that's good news about retrofitting, though at the moment i'll be investing in stronger underpants.
