They allow more cold air in......but more importantly they look so much better vw should have done this from the start :smiley:

Thanks Gmac .. i agree the centre cup holder looks so much better with the cover i can only guess it was an optional extra from factory.

So this has happened ....decided to remove my side skirts for painting and in the process remove the 13 years of dirt behind them . To be fair they came off quite easy its just the glue from the tape thats the pain and takes time apart from that its straight forward...

Also yesterday i had X4 new toyo Proxes T1R fitted to my 18 inch monzas which have now been refurbished really happy with how it looks now so much better than the 17inch monzas ,,what a massive difference it makes.
