Coolant Flange - How To Remove The Vacuum Hose

It is meant to pull off, but with the heat in around that area, the rubber seems to weld itself to the plastic, as does the rubber hose that connects to the lower metal coolant pipe.

Just be patient, remember if you break it, it can be replaced.

A bit of brute force and leverage from a long flat blade screwdriver had the pipes off without breaking any. Refitted without issues.

Engine temp still not getting to 90c so need to replace that little coolant regulator as per another thread on here.
