So with the boredom of lockdown and no car shows in sight I decided to finally give wrapping a go. I ordered some 6D carbon fibre wrap from amazon as it was the best value and quickest delivery time. When it arrived it was very good value for money and even came with a fitting kit which made the whole thing go a lot smoother (no pun intended). As I’ve never wrapped anything before I was a bit apprehensive but was also looking forward to seeing the end result. I gotta say I’m quite impressed with my effort if I do day so myself. I also ordered an Edition 30 sticker to replace the one on the trim I would be covering up. The trim itself was very easy to remove (I have a removal kit) except for the little piece between the steering wheel and the radio that was a complete C#@T to get out without snapping any clips. All in all the carbon fibre wrap was very good quality and very easy to use. Lots of heat to manipulate the wrap and a scalpel to ensure tidy edges it took around an hour all together to finish. I’m happy with the result and it gives the cockpit a nice little touch. See what you think.
