Always declare all mods it’s not worth the hassle if you need to claim. I’m a similar age with 4 years no claims. I don’t think you can declare decat as it’s illegal to be on the road without a cat  :signLOL:

Exhaust
Lowered
Induction
Alloys
Stereo
headlights and tail lights
a few interior/exterior mods
£470

£434 with all mods listed, 11yrs NCB & two non-fault accidents in the last 4yrs.

Like others have said not worth the hassle not listing any mods you have.
Milltek Non Resonated Cat-Back exhaust “edition 35”, Forge PCV Delete, APR Stage 1 Remap & APR DSG Remap, Volkswagen racing intake, Volkswagen racingline sport springs, Audi R8 Coil Pack, GFB DV+

I've just renewed with HIC now called Sterling.
Heard some say that the underwriters, KGM aren't that good but when I had a no fault claim a couple of years ago they were ok if not a bit slow.
As for prices there are so many variables in car, regions, street parking etc etc.
Just get a few quotes I'd say.

Do you guys declare remap, decat etc.

- 48 years old
- Max no claims (well over 10 years)
- 15K miles pa
- East Anglia
- Edition 30 manual
- All mods declared (7R brakes, suspension, ARBs, Revo map)
- £306 Fully comp through LV=

I think being an old fossil is largely responsible for the low price

As above, I'd rather use a big player vs a broker like Flux, HIC, Greenlight etc as they underwrite through some terrible companies like Marker Study

I rate LV= actually.  They've consistently renewed cheaper than the previous year and use recognised brands for screen replacements and the best local bodyshops etc.
