Brake booster connection broke!
« on: December 30, 2022, 06:09:28 pm »
Ok so, i have the similar issue to this thread https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,133217.0.html but also the top T shaped piece that attaches to the vac pump. Specifically this bit https://www.coverdalecarparts.co.uk/product-page/2-0-tfsi-vacuum-hose-kit

The top two bits came off easy enough, the bottom one.... puled and SNAP the male connector has gone and it sits flush with either the side of the block or whatever else it is coming out of. Crap design, bit of plastic that is bound to go brittle but, how do you replace it? It doesn seem to be part of the vac pump above so where does it come from?

not had a chance to get under the car which now runs awful (undrivable) and has no brakes (pedal rock solid).

Any deas welcome!
