I wanted to. I was looking at them but they all had blue LEDs that put me off. Wanted to keep an OEM look with red like the one you linked.
Not hard to take ashtray out so I might try it.

That looks smart - is installation hard? Where is the wire connected to underneath?

Take the plug of the bottom of the cigar lighter and plug the new lead on and all plug and play
Took me 15min
