MK5 GTI newb from Huntingdon
« on: January 25, 2023, 03:05:24 pm »
Hi all, first time VW owner, second German car...not exactly the most exciting vehicle I've owned  , but it's fitting the requirements at the moment.

Got a query regarding the suspension/steering. Might just be geometry related, but the car feels a bit loose, and sometimes, mostly on turning left, feels like the front wheels lose grip/fall over on themselves, if that makes any sense?

Had new tyres and geometry checked, that'd explain the really weird feelings I was getting. The toe was this way that way, anything but where it should be. Ha. Drives much better now.
