Are the seat electrical connectors the same on 06 and 08 cars

I see, could I also snip the connector off the old seat and solder it to the new seat?

Yes that would work as well, I didn't as I don't like cutting wiring if I can help it. Also I was reselling my old seats so I didn't want to hack the wires up.

GVK:
Don't solder airbag wiring, use the pink bullet heat shrink connectors. Soldering can put excess resistance into the airbag circuit.

I searched for the pink connectors but I’m seeing just red ones for sale, Same thing?
