Metallic/springy noise on hard cornering

Here’s 2 pics of the bottom. Definitely rusty looking but tbh I can’t see a break. I checked brake disc back plates again and they are slightly wonky so that there is a 4-5mm gap between it and the brake disc at the top and they are touching at the bottom. If I flick the back plate with my finger it’s a very similar kind of noise to what I’m getting. I wonder if when I corner harder, it’s just enough to rub the brake disc against the back plate?

In the last year both of the shields on my rear brakes rusted out.

On one side all of the fixings rusted through so as I drove the shield was completely loose and making a very loud sound.

The other side was only partially loose so it made less of a noise, louder with the windows down.

You might have heat shields that have dropped down above the exhaust. Possibly due to one of the fixing rusting out.

Also check your exhaust isn't making contact at the downpipe. Not really an issue with standard exhausts, quite common with aftermarket.
