Injector order
« on: November 29, 2023, 01:37:26 pm »
I'm in the middle of doing an intake valve carbon clean, and I've taken out the injectors to replace the o-rings and seals.

I initially kept them in order, but I've just realised that I've completely lost the order of where they were whilst refurbishing them.

Is it okay to put them back in in any order, or is this going to cause me any problems? If so, is there anything I can do to figure out which injector came out of which port?

I was thinking there might be some info in VCDS or something, but if I turn the car on with the manifold off it's going to prime the fuel pump and is going to send fuel flying everywhere.

Shouldn't matter where they go , it's not a diesel where injectors are coded.

Thanks for the reassurance.

Refitted the injectors today in whatever order and the car seems absolutely fine.
