The car came with a nasty pattern bonnet which didn’t fit properly and was rusting on the inside.
Was a shame to have to replace it as the top was mint with PPF fitted.

Fitted a genuine  used bonnet in the right colour. Also bought a pair of genuine wings in the correct colour which were very good as they were replacements. In storage for the time being but had to have them.
One of the wings is now obsolete from Volkswagen. 


Replacement bonnet fitted , need to have a look at the headlight alignment and the bumper. Will do that when changing the intercooler.

Yes mate, I'll get some pics up of the mk1 at the weekend and some of the strip down of the edition 30.

Finally a few pics of my other gti , mk1 with 1.8t. Stock look but most parts have been upgraded.
