Yes I know, I bought it  off Jamie who's  a friend of Richard. It's a really good car with some excellent upgrades. I'm just going through all the age related issues and usual mk5 problems.

Yep... that was mine. Bought it at 13,000 miles and it had the sh*t kicked out of it until I sold it on 160k. Still miss it. If you think about selling it let me know. I would happily buy it back.

It's in good hands Rich, can I ask you a couple of questions via PM?

I'm a bit behind on this thread of what I have done to the car. Went for mot today passed  with one advisory, minor corrosion  on rear sub frame. That's on  the list of jobs.

Back last June I took the car to Pip automotive ltd to have  a carbon clean ,injectors cleaned and serviced and a new thermostat whilst the inlet was off.
The injectors  were actually still in decent condition for the mileage baskets weren’t too bad.
Car is a lot  smoother  and peace of mind to protect the engine.
Car warms up much quicker now with the new thermostat, the car still had the original fitted so that had done pretty well.
