Headliner Material

Gull:
Hi folks!

I managed to salvage my old headlining which has lasted a little while but the dreaded sag is stating to appear around the glasses holder.

Has anyone (recently) found an OEM quality fabric which matches the pillars for a replacement headlining? I'm certain I saw someone doing a really good replacement but I can't find the post and the search only comes up with pretty old threads :(

Any suggestions would be most welcome!

Thanks,

Gull

Interested in this too. My headliner has almost entirely dropped now and detached from the foam backing...

I've been down the rabbit hole as i need to do mine soon, from what i've found the fabric material is called 'SunBrite' and you'll need it in Charcoal Black (SB2469) for a GTI.

I've mostly found American sites selling it, Good luck!
