P2293 After changing injector, checked seals, idles fine, stumbles under load.

mjmallia:
Was the replacement injector new or secondhand?
Was it tested before installation?
Was it a genuine one as there are lots of fakes out there.

Gendan for VCDS in UK (genuine cable)

VCDS ordered, checked follower today, does not appear concave but also entire head of it is silver, no coating left. New one ordered, cam luckily looks good. Am I right in thinking that it would need to be pretty significantly concaved to be causing my issues so it is unlikely the cause?

Was genuine second hand. seals changed. Not looking forward to the prospect of having to take the manifold off again but if VCDS doesn't help me narrow down to any other cause then I'll have to.

As long as it's not concaved it shouldn't be too bad, worth putting a new one in though.

VCDS Arrived. Getting misfires across all cylinders, mainly 3/4. Still P2293. Checking measuring blocks it seems my fuel rail pressure drops massively from 50 to 5 bar when I give the car any throttle. Could my replacement injector be the cause of this? Changing it again might be the best option I think.
