given that you are removing a small amount of pad material . no need for a tool to wind back.
be interesting to see why its like that as its unusual, you may even have the opposite and a chunk of pad missing.
and also having a look at the other side of the disc.

Cheers John o will try and get it up on axle stands so I can get a look at the back side of the disc, and will see if I can get photo's showing whats going on.
Now to convince the girlfriend that this is necessary work to be carried out on Saturday on the grounds of safety! :rolleye:

...........good man.Got mine from there as mine were the same as your's when i picked it up. Alloy wheel cleaner does it. :happy2:
