Cleaned wheels, emptied catch can & bay candy :)

Im one for getting paranoid about these things. :confused: does it make a difference which way round I have the Hoses on the PCV fix???
Will use Castrol Edge again soon, I try to change it at 5k miles but can end up being every 10k if im honest :ashamed:
This oil though has only been in about 5k

that gunk is exactly like mine was. i rinsed the catch can and pipe work throigh every couple months

Yep, that kind and mix of gunk is what most of us are collecting in our catch tanks, so it's normal. I'm personally undecided about whether a specific oil results in no gunk etc - If that was the case, how come VW haven't made a big point about it?
