While i agree Robin that you can Suss people out 99% of the time. To do that the majority of the time you will have to stop your car and speak to them. Unless of course they are stood there with an Axe like one of your pictures.

It's a bit late to find out there is something wrong once you have a Gun/Knife in your face and your being told to get out the car. Unless you are then trained to get out of that situation (even then the odds are still against you) at best you could lose your car and it could be far far worse.

Yes I've been in the front passenger seat of a car and had a knife against my throat - My driver was able to calm things down, there was nothing I could do but stay cool. Bloody Jews and Arabs! They're both as bad as each other IMO.

I talk and ask questions before I unlock my pasenger door and I'm already in gear ready to boot it if needed. But you are still right.

I guess it's just my character - I've always enjoyed accepting people as they are and some of the 'worst' types have always responded well to me - You have only to look at this forum :evilgrin:. I think it stems from my father telling me that when he was an officer in the front line WW2 his batman, a convicted murderer, saved his life but lost his own - He told me to never ever judge according to what others may say but that I had an exceptional intuition and I should rely on it.

Didn't you recognise me in that pic with an axe?

I have friends that are Jewish,Black,Gay,Muslim even Ginger  :signLOL: Some of my friends are not liked by other friends and vice versa.

I just think these days you are taking a big risk picking up hitchhikers and the flip side is genuine Hitchhikers are also doing the same.
