Eropean travel, headlight adjustment
« on: July 02, 2010, 06:43:01 pm »
All;

AS im going on Tuesday one of the last things im unsure of is where to stick the beambender on the Mk5 lights as theres no obvious place.  Anyone got any ideas or pics?

I have headlight protectors that are clear, however there are black squares in the middle is this something to do with it?

Thanks
Rhys

I don't know if this helps but last year when I went over to Germany I bought some (rather goofy looking) OEM headlight protectors which came with beam deflector stickers.

The headlight protectors themselves had small "L" points marked for each corner in a rectangle in the middle of the light showing where to position the sticker...

I left the stickers on figuring I'd use the protectors just for overseas action but since then I got some different headlights which can be adjusted for driving on the other side of the road -- glad I don't have to put these back on my car!
