Our 88k car likes a top up of 1 litre between services, I topped it up the other day but it is saying it needs servicing in a few hundred miles  :fighting:

Comments lke this never fail to shock me.  my car hardly uses a drop, but i check the levels and tyre pressure every single time i wash it.
It takes 20 seconds to do this, and could save you from a whole world of pain. by the time your oil light comes on, there is a good chance that its to late.  :sad1:

vw said to me as long as it doesn't use more than 1litre of oil every 600miles its fine.

mines been through 4.5litres and i still have another 3months till my service!

theres no leak it just drinks it for fun!

Put 1.5 litre in mine in 4k. That was a couple months back and nothing since. It does get quite a hard time but I always let it warm up and run down.

I'm sure its a litre from nothing to max in these?
