Golf GTI Battery

Done google searches checked manual ! so last call you guys !


I have just bought a new car charger to repair the battery !


It has two settings

Standard or sealed battery !


which one does the golf have


It says on standard you can check the levels of the battery and sealed you cant !

sealed.

standard would be a battery you can unscrew the terminals off and will will normally have more then 2 terminals

It's a sealed battery Stefan

I take it you got the Halfrauds £39.99 charger? if so that's the same one i have and i always have it on sealed setting :happy2:

Out of interest how long are you guys seeing from a battery? Mine is poss suspect as it sometimes takes two goes for it to start cold...

I'm thinking of getting a really good quality replacement rather than a charger.

Any recomendations?
