David Cameron has upset Pakistan.

vRS Carl:
That's a shame :innocent:

Or in the words of Cathy Tate

BOVVERED :signLOL:

I don't see what they are getting upset for. All he has done is say what everyone already knows. There are too many Terrorist organisations in the world that originate in Pakistan and the Pakistani government needs to do more to stop it

Gene Hunt:
Totally agree.

Not really fair going all the way to India to say it though, it only takes a spark to start them off killing each other again and Cameron will be off on a flight out of harm's way.

It needed saying, just not in those circumstances.

....He was in Pakistan primarily to encourage trading relationships etc but I think it's better to take the opportunity to say such things to their face.

Pakistan isn't going to welcome such comments wherever it's said but they need to face the reality. International politics are even more complicated than national politics. We never truly know what people are up to, regardless of the side they claim to be on.

tony_danza:
He said it in India, not Pakistan - given their terrible history between the two countries, it was wrong to appear to be sh*t stirring for the sake of some arse kissing for trade deals.. there'll be some sort of fall out off the back of this, no doubt terrorists killing in India again and a retaliation. For what? A few planes.... tut tut!

He should have gone to Pakistan and discussed with them personally.
