MAT ED30:
i have been driving a stage 2 superchips car ie vwr red golf for 3 weeks and the map is complete at utter sh*te i would want my money back even vwr are not happy with the power as its just odd  :signLOL:

Mandy:
Wow, thanks for all your advice everyone!

I can understand that each map has their own pros and cons etc...

Judging by the comments, sounds like Bluefin will be fine for stage 1, but may need Revo or something for stage 2/ 2+.

I guess the deciding factor would be down to how much I plan to mod the car in future.

I'd love to say I'll go stage one and stick with it, but you never know do you?? (Why did I join this forum!)  :signLOL:

Mandy:
Oh, it really doesn't help when 'people' (Mafri) bang on about their amazing Revo remap they've just recently had!!  :P

mafri:
Who, me? Are you trying to suggest that I'm a corrupting influence?!?!?

I've got no basis of comparison vs Bluefin, but I've got to say that Revo has completely surpassed my expectations. As an ex A3 diesel driver, I have been so pleased that Revo has given me sooooooo much torque compared with stock - it pull really well from the bottom end, seems a lot looser and responsive, and fits really well with my driving style. You don't need to rev the nuts off the car to make progress very (very!) quickly.

At stage 1, I think it's amazing. Of course, how long the car stays at stage 1 is another question........
