Wheel Weight Marks

(1/4) > >>

Hi guys, I was wondering what was the safest way to erase the marks that removing wheel weights have left?

I had my front tyres replaced recently and while rebalancing they removed all the weights, but I'm now left with unsightly black marks.

TIA

JPC:
It's probably mainly foam with adhesive underneath it. Best bet is a wheels off approach for better access. I normally peel off as much foam as I can then use some tardis to melt the adhesive.

Then it might still need some claying. That should get rid of it all ;)

x2 I did mine lastweek. What a nightmare! Now I know why the tyre fitters don't bother taking them off!
