Anyone with stock manual 5dr ED30 run? Just wondering what my times might've been like.

Bit guttedwith my runs actually - was going there expecting mid 14's - just couldn't breach the 15 sec mark - gutted - had the usual Bluefin 6.5k misfire despite trying to short shift from 1st to 2nd ... I dunno ... quite gutted my best times :-

Reaction :- 0.63
60 ft :- 2.55
1/8 :- 10.29
1/4 :- 15.05

Gutted .... damned wheelspin, damned snow, even Phil in his nearly stock ED30 pulled 14.7 - damned DSG !!!!!!  :sad: ... am going to download the new superchip map, give them a ring and ask them if I can go up to pay them a visit.

Ah well .... apart form that it was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC to meet you guys espicially RedRobin, Hurdy, Phil, Topcat, Candy Turbo, MatED30, Steve & Greenouse - pleasure to meet you and make me feel so welcome - will look forward to other future events - hopefully next time i'll be a bit quicker .  Tons of pics and vids to share will post asap.  

By the way ... Jared my mate in his TVR was doing some very nice times - when me and him had a play his side of the printout shows a terminal speed of 129.83 !  :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: !!

Also Nadine, my better half had two runs at the end of the day ... by the time you all left 15 mins later track opened and away to go.  Here are her best times :-

Reaction :- 0.94
60ft :- 2.71
1/8 :- 10.53
1/4 :- 15.59

NOT BAD AT ALL considering Nadine has never been near a track, never had a performance car etc etc - well chuffed fro her - her time sheets are her pride and joy at the moment !!!

Just talking here at home ... forgot - I had a full coolbox, all detailing stuff (huge box), a quilt, pillows, camera bags my works gear - full tank of gas - suppose that has to be about 100kg !!! That could easily account for .5 second - easily ....

Ofcourse ... that must be it - must be - that could account for a lot !

no standard manuals ran from memory, garethmk05 was manual with Bluefin, ran 15.00secs.

stokeballon was the only manual ed30 attending, but his boot had old bluey, peoples spare wheels no doubt and other tools etc, that he didnt run all day.

today I ran a suitably stunning
Reaction :- 0.45
60 ft       :- 2.83
1/8         :- 10.14
1/4         :- 15.09
mph        :-102.04

this was my fastest run with the ESP ON ! needless to say I got humped by almost anything inc std cars
I almost got beat by a corsa vxr  :scared:

The times ran by others however were nothing short of amazing for the conditions.
Bens 13.2 on road tyres minus LSD
JonnnyC car sub 13 at 1degC ambient
DSG certainly won the battle today

Top day again, another awesome forum turnout
Gotta love TC's 'estimate' on time to the pod, we arrived early due to some 'time warp' experiment  :wink:
The usual chaos 'lets get to the next meeting place' ........
As usual this forum doesnt disappoint  :happy2: :drinking:
