Newbie saying hello

The must haves are leather - I guess this comes with the heated seats.
I'm after a manual (although I have never tried a DSG).

I would like Xenon lights, rear parking sensors  and iPod connectivity (like my current car), but assume that these are items that I can retrofit at a later stage.

Any tips and advice are welcome :happy2:

Try the DSG. Xenons are costly to retrofit properly.

I would try and find a car with the spec you want IE rear parking sensors, Xenons leather etc. Rather than go for second best... :happy2:

Go for the best you can afford,
Try to get one with the main toys ie.. sat nav...leather... xenons...DSG (thats if you want any of those)
Other little bits like folding mirrors, multi function steering whee etc can be added quite cheaply afterwards.
I paid a little more than i wanted to when i found a 3 door silver GTI with every factory option  bar the highline display.
Im glad i did because i'm so happy now.
